William graduated from Glasgow University in 1999 and joined Springfield Veterinary Group in 2000. He is a Senior Clinical Director overseeing two other practices, and is veterinary advisor to national charity Support Dogs.

William TaylorWilliam has always had a keen interest in surgery, and has been the primary surgeon at Springfield Veterinary Group for over a decade. He completed a CertAVP in 2013, and in 2015 passed the final exam to obtain a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, CertAVP(GSAS), before being awarded RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in Small Animal Surgery.

William has a huge amount of experience in both orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures. He was one of the first vets in the country to routinely offer laparoscopic procedures back in 2009, and has now performed hundreds of ovariectomies as well as training many others in this technique. William has offered TTA for CCLR since 2012. He particularly enjoys maxillofacial surgery, surgical oncology and joint surgery.
